On October 22, Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos members participated in the 10^th annual Lights on Afterschool event. Lights On Afterschool is celebrated nationwide to call attention to the importance of afterschool programs for America's children, families and communities. This year, more than 7,500 events took place throughout the country. Members described how much they enjoy coming to the Club and why they are thankful for the Club on paper light bulbs that they decorated and strung to remind us to keep our lights on afterschool.
