The Jeff Ritchie Memorial Golf Classic, presented by EDCO Waste & Recycling Services, promises to be a tournament like no other, featuring complimentary food and beverages, on-course games and contests, opportunities to win exciting prizes, a helicopter drop finale, and Happy Hour Awards Celebration – all while supporting Great Futures for the kids and teens at the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos.

Helicopter Golf Ball Drop
presented by Ray Gaskin Service
$20 per golf ball
Each year, the Jeff Ritchie Memorial Golf Classic ends with a Helicopter Drop finale, where hundreds of numbered golf balls are dropped from a helicopter over a hole on the driving range. The first ball to land in or closest to the hole will win a $1,000 cash prize!
Winner does not need to be present and will be contacted within 1 week of the event to redeem their prize.
Volunteer at the Event
Join us at this year's event as a volunteer to help create a fantastic tournament experience for players and guests!
Volunteer shifts are available at various times throughout the day! Jobs include:

In 2018, our Golf Classic was renamed in honor of Jeff Ritchie, long-time volunteer and advocate for our Club. For nearly 12 years, Jeff consistently showed his commitment to youth in our community, driving positive change for our kids and teens as a member and chairman of our Board of Directors, leading the Golf Committee for several years as co-chair, supporting countless special events and initiatives at the Club, and so much more.
